Bentley’s 2026 Supersports drops hybrid power and all-wheel drive for track performance
Bentley has made the 2026 Supersports, a version of its Continental GT designed with track driving in mind.
Unlike the current Continental GT, it has rear-wheel drive and a combustion-only engine, without hybrid power.
Removing the hybrid and all-wheel-drive systems cuts about 1,000 pounds of weight.
Its twin-turbo V8 makes 657 horsepower and sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed transmission.
The car reached 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and it was driven on the Laguna Seca race track in California.
Bentley lists a US starting price of $486,600, but every car in the production run has already been sold, with buyers customizing their cars.
The Supersports shows how Bentley adapted its luxury grand tourer for track performance by reducing weight and changing the way it puts power to the road.
