Premier League teams are scoring below expected levels, with draws at a record high

Teams are creating plenty of chances, but many are missing more often than expected.

That helps explain why the league has had more draws than in any previous season.

Fourteen clubs have scored fewer goals than expected, compared with 10 last season.

If finishing improves, some teams’ results could change.
