Three men face trial over alleged fake-cigarette factory in Huixquilucan

Authorities say the men were linked to a site that made and distributed counterfeit cigarettes.

They face allegations involving industrial property, tobacco controls and weapons.

A judge ordered them held in pretrial detention while the case is investigated.

Officials estimate the operation could have affected the illicit tobacco market by 225 million to 330 million pesos.
