Six Vizianagaram teams shortlisted for state innovation competition
A three-day Ideathon in Vizianagaram district invited students to develop ideas for the Rasthriya Innovation Challenge-2026.
Satya Institute of Technology and Management organised the event with the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub.
It registered 160 ideas, and six were shortlisted for a state-level competition.
The ideas addressed subjects including agriculture, health, sanitation, the environment, waste management and digital governance.
The six teams will represent Vizianagaram at the competition in Visakhapatnam on October 17.

SITAM, in association with RTIH, held the Vizianagaram district-level Ideathon under the Rasthriya Innovation Challenge-2026.
SITAM Director Majji Sashibhusana Rao said 160 ideas were registered and six were shortlisted for the state competition.
The six Vizianagaram teams are due to take part in the state-level competition in Visakhapatnam.
