Two arrested in Shabad with MDMA as police investigate Bengaluru supply link

Two men were arrested in Shabad after police seized 13.97 grams of MDMA, a drug also known as ecstasy.

Police identified them as residents of Mirzaguda in Rangareddy district.

They said the men had bought the drugs from a suspected supplier in Bengaluru for ₹42,000.

Police allege the men planned to sell the drugs at a higher price to students and software workers in Mokila, Kokapet and Nanakramguda.

The seized drugs were valued at about ₹2 lakh.

A case has been registered under India’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Investigators are trying to trace the suspected supplier and find out whether others were involved.
