Dutch government condemns US sanctions on International Criminal Court
The United States has announced sanctions against the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
The Dutch government says the measures are deeply regrettable and wants to discuss them with the US before they take effect in six months.
The court prosecutes people suspected of crimes such as genocide and war crimes.
The sanctions could make it harder for court staff to use bank accounts or travel to the US.
