Zak Butters joins Western Bulldogs on record nine-year AFL contract

Zak Butters has joined the Western Bulldogs, the club he supported as a child.

His nine-year contract is the biggest in AFL history by total value.

He said Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli helped him decide to move.

Butters hopes to learn from his new teammates and inspire young people in Melbourne’s west.
