Raza Murad recalls alleged assault involving Zeenat Aman and Sanjay Khan

Actor Raza Murad has spoken about his cousin, actor Zeenat Aman, and a reported violent confrontation involving actor Sanjay Khan.

Murad said Aman travelled from Lonavala to Mumbai before a confrontation at a hotel, which he said affected her right eye.

The incident has been reported over the years, but the details are presented as allegations.

Murad also recalled that Aman’s parents separated when she was young and said she felt lonely growing up.

Aman and Khan reportedly married in 1978, while Khan was still married to Zarine Khan, and their marriage was short-lived.

Murad said people should consider the consequences of relationships with someone who is already married, but stressed that this does not justify violence against a woman.

Aman has spoken publicly about experiencing physical abuse, though she has not named the person involved in some remarks; the sources give no further next steps.
