Sydney teen may never walk again after pool accident

Cardona injured his spine when he jumped into a pool and landed on his neck and back.

He has no feeling from the chest down and doctors say he is unlikely to walk again.

He is expected to remain in hospital for at least six months.

His friends are raising money to help him and his mother with the costs ahead, and hope his story will encourage water safety.
