JR Kagoshima Line section reopens after earthquake repairs

The July earthquake damaged tracks and railway equipment on the line.

Trains between Uto and Yatsushiro started running again on October 10 after repairs.

During the closure, some passengers had longer trips using buses and other trains.

The reopening makes daily travel easier for commuters and students.
