China’s railways carried 302 million passengers over holiday period

China’s railways carried 302 million passengers during a 16-day holiday period.

That was 24.6% more than during the same period a year earlier.

Railways also moved goods such as coal, grain and fertilizer.

The transport helped people travel while keeping important supplies moving.
