Two suspected North Korean mines found on South Korea’s Ganghwa Island

South Korean marines found two mines near the coast of Ganghwa Island.

They believe the mines came from North Korea, but are investigating how they arrived.

A military bomb-disposal team safely detonated them.

No one was hurt, and nothing was damaged.

The military says it will keep searching the coast to help protect residents and visitors.
