Netherlands to return 20 cultural objects to Indonesia

The Netherlands has agreed to return 20 cultural objects to Indonesia.

They include a diamond, a handwritten Quran and several gravestones.

Researchers concluded that Indonesia lost the objects unwillingly during the colonial period.

Returning them recognizes that they should not have been taken and restores them to their country of origin.
