Vandalism causes about €200,000 in damage at French high school

Several classrooms at a high school in Lormont, near Bordeaux, were badly damaged during unrest linked to student protests.

The damage is estimated at about €200,000, and the school is temporarily closed.

Some students and residents said the vandalism did not reflect the protesters’ demands.
