Rafael Jodar declines to comment on possible Juan Carlos Ferrero coaching link
Rafael Jodar, a rising Spanish tennis player, was asked whether he might work with coach Juan Carlos Ferrero next season.
Ferrero, a former world No 1, has said he plans to return to tennis in 2027 after a year away following his split with Carlos Alcaraz.
Jodar did not confirm or deny that they might team up.
He said he was focused on his next match and had two more tournaments ahead, with a possible Davis Cup appearance for Spain.
Jodar has played many tournaments this season and said he is pleased with his results, while recognising he still has much to learn.
He hopes to do well in Shanghai and pursue a place at the ATP Finals in Turin.
He said he would assess his schedule for next season after this one ends and decide which tournaments to play.
