A local business leader donated 100,000 yuan to help 10 young people in hardship in Tiexi district with education-related costs.
The donation is part of a children’s fund set up in 2025, which plans to support 100 children in hardship.
A health centre also offered free medical check-ups, worth a total of 46,000 yuan, to 100 low-income residents.
After the ceremony, organisers and business representatives visited the supported students’ families to learn about their needs and offer emotional and study guidance.
The event aims to ease financial pressures and provide wider support for young people facing difficulties.
