Shanghai meeting gathers global business leaders on services innovation
Shanghai held its 38th Mayoral International Business Leaders Advisory Conference on October 11.
It brought together 42 business leaders from 14 countries to discuss how to encourage innovation in Shanghai’s services sector.
Their discussions covered new forms of consumption, business models, integration and service settings.
The leaders offered advice that Shanghai’s mayor said the city would seek to turn into plans to improve and expand services.
The meeting also strengthened cooperation, and several multinational companies expressed interest in continuing to invest in Shanghai.
Eleven private companies took part in the full meeting.
The next conference is scheduled for October 10, 2027, with a focus on innovation in the age of intelligence and cooperation between Shanghai and global businesses.
