Eight victims, including a pregnant woman, killed in Erie home shooting
Eight people, including a pregnant woman and children, were killed in a shooting at a home in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Police also found the 45-year-old suspected gunman dead inside.
The man was related to seven of the victims, and the eighth was a friend of the pregnant woman.
Police said two women arrived at the house distressed and were shot outside after the gunman came out.
Officers were alerted by ShotSpotter, a system that uses microphones and artificial intelligence to detect gunshots, and arrived within minutes.
Police have not given a motive and are examining evidence, including the phones of the two women killed outside.
The district attorney has asked the public not to spread rumours while the investigation continues.
