Motorsport Australia launches foundation to support volunteer officials

Motorsport Australia has launched a foundation to fund community and charitable initiatives in the sport.

Its first campaign aims to raise $500,000 for training and support for volunteer officials.

These volunteers help keep races safe and fair, from grassroots events to the Bathurst 1000.

The foundation says donations will help develop more than 12,500 officials across Australia.
