Vikings elevate Odell Beckham Jr. ahead of Saints game
The Minnesota Vikings have elevated receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from their practice squad for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
The move makes Beckham eligible to play, but the team has not decided whether he will be active.
That decision may depend on the health of Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, who were both listed as questionable.
Jefferson has an ankle injury, while Addison has a hamstring injury.
The Vikings signed Beckham this week as they add depth to a receiver group facing those injury concerns.
Beckham last played in the NFL in 2024, when he was with the Miami Dolphins.
Coach Kevin O’Connell worked with him on the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, and said Beckham could quickly learn parts of the Vikings’ system if needed.
