Penalty wipes out Jaguars’ kickoff touchdown as two players are ejected in London

The Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars opened their NFL game in London with a chaotic kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jacksonville rookie Josh Cameron returned the ball 90 yards for what appeared to be a touchdown.

The score was called back after officials penalized Philadelphia for an illegal formation and Jacksonville for holding.

During the confusion, Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Jaguars defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr. scuffled.

Both were penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected before the game had properly begun.

The incident meant both teams lost a player, and Jacksonville lost an early scoring opportunity.

The game was being played in London as part of the NFL’s international schedule.
