iRhythm says June cyberattack exposed data of at least 360,000 people
Hackers accessed business applications used by iRhythm, a maker of heart-monitoring sensors.
The stolen information included names, contact details, birth dates and insurance numbers.
iRhythm says the attack did not disrupt medical devices or clinical services.
The breach matters because the stolen data is sensitive, even though the company says it has no evidence it was used for identity theft.
