Onvis releases outdoor smart plug with energy monitoring and Matter over Thread

Onvis has released a weather-resistant smart plug for outdoor devices such as lights and fans.

It can measure how much electricity those devices use and lets users set schedules.

Matter over Thread allows it to work with several smart home systems and can help it connect where Wi-Fi coverage is weak.

Apple Home users need a HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple TV 4K to make full use of it.
