São Paulo leaders confirm Paulista rally for Flávio Bolsonaro on Oct. 18
São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas and city Mayor Ricardo Nunes have confirmed a rally for Flávio Bolsonaro on Paulista Avenue on Oct.
18.
Bolsonaro and federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira are also expected to attend.
The event was announced during a campaign lunch in central São Paulo, where Bolsonaro urged allies to mobilize voters for the Oct.
25 runoff.
Tarcísio also called on local leaders to work harder for the campaign in its final weeks.
The announcement came on the same day President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva held a reelection rally on Paulista Avenue, attended by thousands.
Nunes said the planned rally was not intended to compete with Lula’s event for crowd size.
The organizers have not announced the rally’s time or other details.
