Dungeon Crawler Carl TV series plans to begin filming in 2027

Dungeon Crawler Carl TV series plans to begin filming in 2027

A live-action TV series based on Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl books is being developed for Peacock.

The story follows Carl and a talking cat as they try to survive an alien invasion and a deadly intergalactic game show.

Universal Television says filming is planned for 2027.

The team is working on scripts and hiring key production staff, including directors and designers.

The plan is to finish all the scripts before production begins.

Jeff Hays, who narrates the audiobooks, will voice Princess Donut, but Carl has not been cast.

More details are expected within the next few weeks, but no premiere date has been announced.
