Olivia Rodrigo buys Meg White’s ‘Elephant’ album-cover dress for $25,600

Rodrigo bought the vintage dress worn by Meg White on the cover of The White Stripes’ 2003 album ‘Elephant’.

The dress sold at auction for $25,600, well above its estimated value of $4,000 to $6,000.

Rodrigo hoped to wear it at her California festival in August but decided it was too hot.

The purchase shows how much she admires the band and its music.
