Taylor Sheridan’s move to NBCUniversal raises questions about Yellowstone’s future

Taylor Sheridan is set to leave Paramount in 2028 and work for NBCUniversal on new shows and films.

The move raises questions about how much he will continue to shape Yellowstone spin-offs.

One planned series, 6666, was dropped, and the prequel 1944 has no announced cast or filming date.

Marshals and Dutton Ranch are drawing large audiences, but reports of production problems add to uncertainty about the franchise’s future.
