Sirianni takes blame after Eagles lose to Jaguars on late field goal
The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Philadelphia Eagles in London after a last-second field goal.
Philadelphia was ahead 17-16 with eight seconds left and kicked the ball to Jacksonville.
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni chose a routine kickoff rather than a different approach.
Jaguars returner Ameer Abdullah brought the ball to Philadelphia’s 39-yard line, giving Jacksonville a chance to score.
Kicker Cam Little then made a 57-yard field goal to win the game.
Sirianni said he made the wrong decision and took responsibility for the loss.
The Eagles are now 2-3, and the source says they are also dealing with several offensive injuries.
