Mike Love and Al Jardine perform at separate Beach Boys shows

Two concerts linked to the Beach Boys took place on Oct.

11, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee, and Cerritos, California.

Mike Love performed at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium with his touring version of the band, while Al Jardine played in Cerritos with the Pet Sounds Band.

Jardine’s show also featured former Beach Boys guitarist David Marks and longtime member Bruce Johnston.

Love appeared frail and sat in a chair, while other band members handled all the lead vocals.

He told the Nashville audience he had been facing health challenges and had insisted on performing there.

A letter from John Stamos, who appeared at the show, suggested the concert might be Love’s last with the band, though he said he hoped it was not.

Three more Beach Boys concerts are scheduled, including two in November and one in May 2027.
