The program includes talks on energy policy, youth, women, innovation and business, as well as an international exhibition.

Ministers are also meeting to discuss reliable energy supplies, stable markets and cooperation between producing and consuming countries.

Other meetings focus on clean energy, innovation and cooperation among Arab countries on electricity.

The gathering comes as the energy sector faces changing demands around supply security, sustainability and new technologies.
