RTL drops morning reruns of soap opera Unter uns
RTL ended morning reruns of Unter uns on October 12, replacing the weekday 9:30 a.m.
slot with Verklag mich doch!.
The German daily soap, set around the Schillerallee, still has new episodes on RTL from Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m.
RTL plans to end the series after 32 years, with its final episode scheduled for March 2027.
The decision follows changes in the economics of daily scripted shows, audience viewing habits and RTL’s programming plans; the soap’s ratings had also fallen.
The afternoon broadcasts are not affected by the latest schedule change.
Its production company is examining whether the story could continue elsewhere, but there is no concrete plan for a continuation.
