Türkiye’s agricultural exports reach $27.1 billion in first nine months

Türkiye exported $27.1 billion worth of agricultural products from January through September, up 4.4% from the same period last year.

The figure was a record for those nine months, supported by demand from international markets.

Agriculture made up 12.9% of Türkiye’s total exports, which reached $211 billion.

Three of the sector’s 10 subsectors also set records for the period: fresh fruit and vegetables, aquaculture and animal products, and tobacco.

Iraq was the top destination for fresh fruit and vegetables, Russia for aquaculture and animal products, and the United States for tobacco.

The figures show that agricultural exports contributed to Türkiye’s broader export growth; no further steps or forecasts were provided.
