Türkiye’s fresh vegetable exports reach $822.7 million in nine months

Türkiye exported 651,087 tons of fresh vegetables from January through September, earning $822.7 million.

That was 10% more revenue than in the same nine months a year earlier.

Tomatoes brought in $304.2 million, and peppers earned $275.5 million; together, they made up about 70% of the total.

Romania was the biggest buyer, followed by Germany and Russia.

Türkiye also exported vegetables to Bulgaria, Ukraine and the Netherlands.

The figures cover tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini and other fresh vegetables.

The increase matters to Türkiye’s vegetable exporters, although no further export plans or forecasts are given.
