FIA seeks global fan input on future touring car rules

The FIA has launched a survey asking touring car fans around the world to help shape future racing rules.

The feedback will inform plans for the next generation of FIA touring car regulations, including a possible new, cost-effective class.

The FIA says it wants cars that are exciting to watch, challenging to drive and able to produce close racing.

The goal is to keep the sport popular and relevant while controlling costs.

TCR cars have been used in the FIA World Touring Car Cup, which was replaced by the TCR World Tour in 2023.

Fans can submit their views at TCFanSurvey.com until October 25.
