Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro supporters hold rallies in Fortaleza neighborhood

Supporters of Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro held rallies in Conjunto Ceará, a neighborhood in Fortaleza, Brazil.

The PL campaign held a motorcade and rally there on October 10, while a PT rally took place on October 12.

Elected politicians from both sides joined the events, including federal deputy André Fernandes at the PL rally and Fortaleza Mayor Evandro Leitão at the PT rally.

Conjunto Ceará was a closely contested area in the first round, where Lula had an advantage in the presidential vote.

The rallies are part of campaigning across Fortaleza’s neighborhoods during the election’s second round.

More events by both sides are scheduled in different parts of the city this week.
