André Jardine congratulates Club América on its 110th anniversary

Club América marked its 110th anniversary on October 12.

André Jardine, who coached the Mexico City club from June 2023 to June 2026, sent a congratulatory message on social media.

He said it had been an honor to lead the team and thanked fans and the club for the titles and memories.

Jardine now coaches Shabab Al-Ahli in the United Arab Emirates.

Under his leadership, América won three straight Liga MX short tournaments: Apertura 2023, Clausura 2024 and Apertura 2024.

The run made the club the first to win three consecutive short tournaments in the league.

América’s long history and major rivalries have helped make it one of Mexican football’s most prominent clubs, with expectations to contend for titles each season.
