Agoumé questions Isaac Romero’s dismissal after Sevilla draw with Levante

Sevilla drew 3-3 away to Levante in a Spanish league match.

Sevilla twice led by two goals, with Robbie Ure and Félix Correia scoring before Levante replied through Iván Romero and Adrián Dela.

Isaac Romero put Sevilla ahead again in the 95th minute, then received a second yellow card after celebrating by telling the crowd to be quiet.

The dismissal left Sevilla with 10 players, and Ifeanyi Ndukwe scored Levante’s equaliser afterwards.

Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoumé said he did not think Isaac had done anything wrong and hoped the referee would explain the decision.

Agoumé also said Sevilla had wasted too many chances and let Levante score too quickly after going 2-0 ahead.

The draw left Sevilla with 14 points from eight matches; no further action over the card is stated.
