Lucas Patrick to remain Commanders’ starting center

Washington has chosen Lucas Patrick to keep starting at center.

Nick Allegretti began the season in that role but struggled and was benched.

Patrick has started at center for the past two weeks.

The change matters because the team is looking for steadier play on its offensive line.
