Analysts split on Wildcat, Ramsay and CBA shares

Three investment experts have shared their views on three companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Tom Fairchild rated lithium developer Wildcat Resources a buy, citing its Tabba Tabba project in Western Australia and rising demand for lithium.

The project has an estimated 74.1 million tonnes of material containing 1 per cent lithium oxide, and a feasibility study is under way.

Blake Halligan rated private hospital operator Ramsay Health Care a hold, pointing to higher earnings but also labour costs and a sharp share price rise.

Ramsay operates in Australia, the UK and Europe, and management expects revenue and margins to improve in the year ahead.

Philippe Bui rated Commonwealth Bank of Australia a sell, saying its strong results and dividend were outweighed by a high share valuation and risks including mortgage competition and costs.

These are the experts’ investment opinions, not company decisions, and the sources give no further next steps.
