Firefly cancels Subang–Seletar flights through Monday because of haze

Malaysian airline Firefly has cancelled all flights between Subang Airport near Kuala Lumpur and Singapore’s Seletar Airport through Monday, Oct 12.

The cancellations affect six return services each day.

The airline says it is acting as a precaution because haze is affecting the region.

It is contacting passengers and offering seats on Malaysia Airlines flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport, subject to availability.

Passengers who do not take the alternative flights can get a full refund, credited to their original payment within 30 working days.

On Sunday, air quality was unhealthy in 14 areas of Malaysia and across all five regions of Singapore.

Firefly says it is monitoring the weather and will tell affected customers about further schedule changes.
