San Francisco beats Seattle 32-29 to stay unbeaten

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Seattle Seahawks 32-29 in Seattle and improved their record to 5-0.

A 44-yard field goal by Eddy Pineiro put San Francisco ahead with 1:56 left.

The 49ers secured the win when Cooper Kupp fell short of the first-down line on a fourth-down play with 54 seconds remaining.

San Francisco had already been dealing with several injuries, and receiver Deebo Samuel left in the second half with a hamstring injury.

Quarterback Brock Purdy was sacked three times and threw an interception, but made important plays late in the game.

The win keeps the 49ers unbeaten and at the top of the NFC West.

They are scheduled to host the Washington Commanders in Santa Clara on October 19.
