Tom Ingram wins twice at Brands Hatch and secures second in BTCC

Tom Ingram won twice on the final day of the British Touring Car Championship season at Brands Hatch in England.

He drove an Excelr8 Motorsport Hyundai and started the final race from pole position.

Ingram held off Josh Cook, who finished just 0.600 seconds behind him.

The two victories helped Ingram secure second place in the championship, ahead of Dan Cammish.

Ash Sutton had already been crowned champion for the fifth time.

Mikey Doble finished fourth and secured the Independents title.

Ricky Collard lost the chance to take his first BTCC win after a penalty, preventing a Team VERTU clean sweep.
