Three injured in third school attack in Poland in a week
Three people were injured in an attack at an educational institution in Warsaw on Saturday, and police arrested a 21-year-old woman.
Police said she used a dangerous object to attack a 17-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Two other people, aged 17 and 24, were also injured but did not need hospital treatment.
It was the third attack at a school in Poland in less than a week.
Earlier, a 19-year-old student injured nine people at a vocational school, and a 15-year-old killed a caretaker and wounded two others at a former school.
Police said they had detained 76 people and checked nearly 50,000 schools as concerns grew about further attacks.
Authorities have not confirmed that the attacks are linked, and police could not say whether Saturday’s incident was connected to the earlier ones.
