Mick Gordon Says He Would Return to Doom if Conditions Were Right
Mick Gordon, the composer behind the music for Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal, says he would gladly work on a future Doom game.
He made the comments at PAX Australia, but said many things would need to fall into place first.
Gordon has not explained what those conditions are.
In 2022, he accused id Software of not paying him for half of his work on the Doom Eternal soundtrack and said executive producer Marty Stratton had been abusive toward him.
Despite the dispute, Gordon says he still has ideas for where he would take the series.
His return is possible, but nothing has been announced.
In 2027, he is due to perform music from the two games with a live band at the UK's RADAR music festival.

He told IGN that many things would have to fall into place, but he would return “within a heartbeat.”
Gordon said he still has ideas for the series and would like to explore them one day.
