Don Strachan recalls Australia’s 1955 win over the All Blacks at Eden Park

Don Strachan played for Australia in its 8–3 win over New Zealand at Eden Park in 1955.

He is now 97 and described as the oldest living Australian rugby union player.

The win was rare, but New Zealand still kept the Bledisloe Cup after winning the other two tests in the series.

Strachan also overcame a serious leg injury before returning to rugby.
