Police continue search for missing 19-year-old in Augsburg

A 19-year-old woman from Augsburg has been missing since Saturday evening.

She was last known to be at work in the Lechhausen area, and her shoes were found by the Lech River.

Police and firefighters renewed their search on Monday around the river, using a helicopter and divers.

The search ended around 8 p.m.

without finding her.

Police say they have no specific evidence of a crime and are investigating in all directions.

The large search suggests officers may be concerned she is in danger, but they have not confirmed why it began so quickly.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward by calling 0821/323-2110 or emergency number 110.
