Boston Blue season 2 will develop storylines introduced in its first season

Boston Blue is returning for a second season.

The showrunners say they can now focus on stories they started in season 1, rather than introducing the characters and setting.

Danny and Lena continue investigating an attack on Brian Rodgers, while a new case involves murders resembling those of the Boston Strangler.

The season may also bring some earlier storylines to a conclusion.
