Delhi Metro limits entry and exit at 45 stations ahead of protest

Entry and exit at 45 Delhi Metro stations will be closed from 9 pm on October 9 until 6 pm on October 10, ahead of a protest.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation reduced the number from 57 after the Supreme Court said authorities should regulate transport, not stop it completely.

The court said broad restrictions could inconvenience residents and limit their ability to move around.

Interchange facilities will remain open at affected stations except New Delhi.
