South Korean broadcaster KBS will air eight standalone dramas in its 2026 Drama Special series.

The dramas will be broadcast from November 18 to December 16 on KBS 2TV.

This year's theme, “Sound: Track,” uses songs encountered in everyday life to tell stories about love, separation and personal growth.

The schedule includes one drama each on November 18, 19 and 26, and December 2, 3, 9, 10 and 16.

Episodes are set for Wednesdays at 9:50 p.m.

and Thursdays at 10 p.m., except for November 25.

KBS says its standalone drama tradition began in 1984 and has served as a launchpad for new directors, writers and actors.

The announced broadcasts run through December 16.
