Rising component costs prompt laptop makers to reconsider moving production from China
Laptop makers have been moving production outside China to reduce risks from tariffs and political tensions.
But rising component costs are squeezing their profits.
TrendForce says manufacturers may now put more production back in China.
It forecasts that less than one-fifth of notebooks will be made outside mainland China in 2027.
